Strimling's 'Office Hours' on Munjoy Hill

Mayor Ethan Strimling will hold office hours at the Hilltop Superette, 135 Congress St.., on Sept. 17 in his avowed campaign to bring city government closer to the neighborhoods. He will be at the superette to meet with constituents between 10 and 11:30 a.m. as part of his “Strimling on the Street” program, according to a press release from the mayor’s office. Strimling said that government needs to “offer every and any opportunity to meet folks where they are, to learn first-hand of their thoughts, opinions and concerns,” according to the release.

The mayor also will appear at the following locations in September and October:
Aurora Provisions, 64 Pine St., Sept. 13, 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Tony’s Donuts, 9 Bolton St., Sept. 18, 8:30-10 a.m.
Shaw’s Supermarket-Northgate, 91 Auburn St., Sept. 26, 4-6 p.m.
Aubuchon Hardware, 832 Stevens Ave., Oct. 2, 10-11:30 a.m.
Becky’s Diner, 390 Commercial St., Oct. 7, 6-7:30 a.m.
Holy Donut, 194 Park Ave., Oct. 15, 8-9:30 a.m.
